A wiki is " a hypertext publication collaboratively edited and managed by its own audience directly using a web browser.". The most well known wiki is wikipedia itself. A  A wiki is a web page that allow s users to collaborate by creating, editing, publishing and deleting content. They are often used for a variety of educational activities that are synergistic, such as creating study guides and working on group presentations and assignments.    Not only can adopting technology in education can be very time consuming but it can also be challenging. Wikis are becoming a more common form of technology in the classroom. Educators use wiki's as both teaching and learning tools that they use to improve the quality of learning for themselves and their students.  My name is Lanetta Marshall and I am a 20 year old junior at Louisiana State University. My major is social work and I plan on being a social worker when I graduate and to open up a Early Childhood Education Center when I progress in my career and education. I am a 91C, Utilities Equipment Repairer (mechanic) in the army and I also plan on having that under my belt when starting a Motor Shop business.

  Copyright is the legal right given to an  originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same. Basically, originators have the right to protect their creations by copyright. This way they can somewhat control where their work ends up and keep their creative status.    The US Constitution protects original and creative work as soon as it is created. Any piece of work created after January 1, 1978, is protected during the author's life and will continue to be protected 70 years after their death. Copy right material is only useable if it’s face to face, for educational purposes, and the institution is nonprofit.  Two important things everyone should know about copyright are to avoid using creative materials for personal use and use publish sources rather than unpublished ones. Meeting Lanetta.

  My name is Lanetta Marshall and I am a junior at Louisiana State University. I am a mechanic in the Army Reserves and I have served for about two and a half years now. My major is social work, I plan to be a social worker one day to serve justice to people who need it in my community. I also want to get a certification and open up my own daycare/early childhood education center one day. I have always been passionate about the safety of today's youth and when I advance in my degree and eventually my career, I plan on expressing this passion by helping them directly in any way that I can. I love art and music, anything that requires creativity honestly.
